Evaluates, creates, implements, tests, debugs, and adjusts new or improved software for use in local, networked, cloud-based, or Internet-related computer applications.
Code may be utilized in end-user or commercial applications, including HRIS, mobile apps, desktop applications, financial management, and materials management.
Writes code, finishes programming, tests, and debugs programs using the latest programming languages and technology.
Finalizes installation and maintenance procedures and documentation. may communicate with users to specify the needs for the system and/or the necessary changes.
Applies the principles and practices of software engineering to the design, development, integration, qualification, and/or maintenance of tools and products in one or more constrained but expanding domains of expertise.
Works under the supervision of the project team leader both individually and cooperatively as a member of a team.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Proficiency with Ubuntu, CentOS, and Redhat OS administration
Strong troubleshooting and administration abilities to handle Red Hat, CentOS, and Ubuntu Linux systems
Proficiency with filesystem administration, LVM, and file and directory permissions.
Knowledge of operating system software upgrades, including coordination, testing, and planning
Understanding of Selinux, Firewall, and Iptables as well as experience with patching and security standard techniques and vulnerability assessment
Familiarity with setting up and maintaining a variety of network services, including SMTP, DNS, FTP/SFTP, NTP, and NFS.
Working familiarity with VMware virtualization
Practical understanding of cloud computing platforms like AWS and Azure
Familiarity with overseeing physical servers.
Familiarity managing a multinational remote team
Knowledge of a SLA-focused ticketing system
Has to be knowledgeable on cloudwatch, Azure, and Nagios, among other monitoring technologies.
Good familiarity with ITIL processes, including problem, change, incident, and change management
Availability for shift employment (24 x 7 x 365 model)
